Doors Open Days are are special opportunity to visit rarely open heritage sites for free.
Usually held during the second weekend of September, for 2025 on the 13th and 14th of September.

Details of the Society’s winter programme of talks can be found at https://aanhs.org/syllabus/
and usually run from October to March, with a break in December.
Excursions are usually organised on a couple of days each summer and details will be emailed to members.

Troon History Fair → first Saturday in June
Ayrshire Federation of Historical Societies – Swap Shop → Sunday, early October
Cumnock History Group now meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7 pm in the Royal Hotel, Cumnock.
Prestwick History Group meet on the first Thursday of the month, October to December + February to May
Kilmarnock & District History Group now meet on various Thursdays October -March, in Kilmarnock.
Dumfriesshire and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society meets fortnightly at 7.30pm on Friday evenings between October and March (with a break over the Christmas/New Year period).
