CHANGING AYRSHIRE LANDSCAPES – Saturday 10 October 2026 – Conference at the Harbour Arts Centre at Irvine. An AYRSHIRE ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY event. Come along to find out more AND share what you know.

The cost of the conference is £10 per person, and can be booked through the Harbour Arts Centre, 116 Harbour Street (01294 274059) by phone, in person or through their website (thehac.co.uk). Tickets will also be available on the day of the event.

Excursions are usually organised on a couple of days each summer and details will be emailed to members.

Ayrshire Federation of Historical Societies – Swap Shop → Sunday, early October
Cumnock History Group now meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7 pm in the Royal Hotel, Cumnock.
Prestwick History Group meet on the first Thursday of the month, October to December + February to May
Kilmarnock & District History Group now meet on various Thursdays October -March, in Kilmarnock.
Dumfriesshire and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society meets fortnightly at 7.30pm on Friday evenings between October and March (with a break over the Christmas/New Year period).
